Caution... Extremely long POST- do not read if you do not want to know what is on my mind...

PASSION... out of His love!?! Do you have it?

Going to this Christian University I hear it all the time... becoming WORLD CHANGERS (and the choir of angels begins to sing). But in reality I don't see it at all. BUT I WANT IT!!!! In all honesty, past all of the stupid associations with the phrase: We need to change the world. I know 'I' can't do this, BUT I do know that God is going to do it.

Hearing all of these herendous statistics and all of the cringing facts about the lost in the world I wonder why, what, when , and how. Why is Islam the number growing religion in the world? Why had Christianity slowed in the growth? Why do I cry when I think of the hopeless of the world? Why are God's people not taking the GOOD NEWS into the world?

Obviously my God is NOT dead. He is still moving even without "Christians" and "Missionaries" in the remote places of the world. Moving through dreams and visions is just one of the many things that God is doing without the physical assistance of the church. I honestly begin to feel sick when I think of a lot of our churches today. What is our mission, who is wholeheartedly devoted and in love with Jesus Christ. If I didn't have an experience with the word and God myself I honestly would not want to be a "christian" at all. I really even feel like disowning this "religion". I am sick of it.

Again this sounds incredibly cheesy, but I honestly just want to know Jesus more. I want to see the power of my God in the real world. I want to see REAL change take place in this world. I don't want to hear that "thousands made commitments to Christ" I want to see that because of those "thousands" of decisions that the crime rate is decreasing, that bars are closing, that clubs are turning into worship raves... okay I know it seems idealistic and almost impossible but you know what- my God is the one who created this earth, He is the one who parted the red sea, who brought the dead back to life, who makes light come from a headlights without any buld (ask me about this story- its sweet), who heals the sick, gives sight to the blind, who frees the captives, who can changes the hearts of men, and WHO saved us from all cendemnation and HELL by a humiliating death on a cross for OUR SINS.

Why am I not seeing the effects of my AWESOME God today in the lives of believers in this country?- in this world that we live in right here right now? Why are people choosing rigid discipline over free love?

Why don't we just love Him? I want my love for Him to be so deep that I don't "try" to witness or try to "push Jesus" on people. My witness should be a by-product of my wholehearted desire to love Him. I shouldn't nee to shout "Jesus loves you" to those passing by- I should simply glow with something inside me that people have a desire to know about.

Think about this- Hitler is known all over the world for the horrid, indispicable things that he caused. Do you realize that before he could do all those things he had to get people to join with him in his cause. People to support and rally with him. God was NOT on Hitler's side and yet he still accomplished all of those aweful things. Why couldn't someone have faith enough and obedience enough to actually see God type effects at the magnitude of those of Hitler to happen in this world. Amazing, awe-inspiring change to effect the world like never before. The real God- in the real world- with real people. It is possible.

R U willing and obedient to this call? Do you have faith that it could and WILL happen? Will you be one of the ones that the Lord uses to carry out His Great Commision?

It still remains:
"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

When will the end come:
And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved...

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
